The new King’s Academy Binfield is the first all-through academy (nursery to post 16) in Bracknell Forest. The academy has been built as part of the master plan for the former Blue Mountain site which will ultimately see some 400 new homes.
King's Academy Binfield opened on 4th September 2018 and welcomed their first cohort of Year 7 students. It has a planned capacity of up to 1,851 students which will include students with special educational needs and disabilities.
It will include a two form entry primary provision with nursery and integrated SEND provision as well as a seven form entry secondary provision again with integrated SEND provision.
This brand new, purpose-built academy will also provide on-site sports and community facilities which will ensure that the academy and wider community can enjoy maximum use of the new facilities.
